These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and study portal at athensacademyisl.com (the "Service"), operated by Athens Academy Islamabad ("Athens Academy Islamabad", "the Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. About the Service
Athens Academy Islamabad is an educational institute and a company incorporated in Pakistan and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the Companies Act, 2017. Through the Service, the Company provides an online educational platform offering notes, quizzes, flashcards, model papers, and past papers for Pakistani students in Grades 9 to 12 following the Federal Board (FBISE) and Punjab Board curricula. The Service is intended for learning and study support purposes, and serves Pakistani students both within Pakistan and abroad.
Athens Academy Islamabad operates on a not-for-profit basis as a social empowerment programme, with the aim of giving every student a fair chance at a good education. We are not a charity, and we do not seek or accept donations. The Service sustains itself through modest monthly fees paid by students. These fees are not collected for profit; they go towards paying our staff, running our facilities, and delivering and improving the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Certain parts of the Service are open to all visitors, while others require sign-in and are restricted to authorised users.
Accounts are activated by Athens Academy Islamabad management only. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in access confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. We use passwordless sign-in (Google sign-in or a one-time email link), so there is no password for you to set or store. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Students do not interact with one another through the Service. There are no student profiles, messaging, or shared content between students.
If you are under 18, you should use the Service with the guidance and involvement of a parent, guardian, or teacher.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. You will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to staff or administrator areas, copy or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without permission, upload harmful or unlawful material, interfere with the proper operation of the Service, or use the Service in any manner that breaches applicable law.
4. Access tiers and payments
Some study material is free, and some is available only on a paid basis:
- Free content is available to all signed-in students, and certain free material — including past papers, past paper MCQs, and topper copies — is available to visitors.
- Paid content requires purchase and gives you full access to the study material for your specific board and grade.
Payment for paid content is made manually, either by bank transfer or through Easypaisa. Access to paid content is granted by our management after payment is confirmed. We do not process card payments and do not store card details. Paid access is provided on a monthly subscription basis, not as a one-time permanent purchase. The fees, the subjects included, and the access duration are as communicated to you at the time of purchase. As set out in Section 1, these fees are charged on a not-for-profit basis to cover the cost of running the Service.
5. Educational content disclaimer
Our notes, quizzes, flashcards, model papers, and past papers are study aids prepared to support the Federal and Punjab Board curricula. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is free of error or fully aligned with the latest official syllabus or examination requirements. The Service is intended to supplement, and not replace, official textbooks, board guidance, and classroom instruction, and the Company is not responsible for any examination results or academic outcomes.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Service, including notes, quizzes, flashcards, model papers, text, graphics, logos, and the Athens Academy Islamabad name, is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use this content solely for your own personal, non-commercial study. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or sell any part of it without our prior written permission.
7. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, sign-in, email, and related functions, and may contain links to external websites. The Company does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services or sites.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
