Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Everything you and your parents might want to know about Athens Academy — how classes work, what’s free, and how to get started. Can’t find your answer? Just message us.

1. What is Athens Academy Islamabad?

Athens Academy Islamabad is a not-for-profit educational institute with a physical campus in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, and an online study portal. The portal was built first for our own campus students, but we have deliberately extended it to students across Pakistan and abroad — and particularly to students in rural areas, for the benefit of all those the system tends to leave behind and all those who don't have access to first-class tutoring. It covers Grades 9 to 12 under the Federal Board (FBISE) and Punjab Board curricula, with notes, quizzes, flashcards, model papers, and past papers for Matric (Grades 9–10) and FSc (Grades 11–12) preparation. Athens Academy is steadily expanding its campus to serve a bigger community, and extending its scope to O-Level on a strict no-profit-no-loss basis.

2. What programmes are offered at the DHA Phase 2 campus?

At our campus in Giga Downtown, DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, our faculty teach in person across the following programmes:

  • Board exam tutoring (Classes 9–12): Matric and FSc preparation for the Federal Board, taught subject-wise by dedicated faculty.
  • Pre-9th head-start (Class 8): a preparatory programme for Class 8 students who want to build a strong foundation now, so they enter Class 9 ready for their first board exam.
  • O-Level tuition: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Computer.
  • Spoken English: conversational English classes — see our Announcements for current batch details.

Our faculty are among the best — experts in their subjects, fully up to date with the latest board patterns, and well prepared for the new SLO-based exams. The campus is co-educational, and we take special care to provide a secure and respectful environment for girls and young students, so parents can send their children with complete peace of mind.

For full details of each programme and its fee, please visit our Programs & Fees page, or message us on WhatsApp at 0334-2997799 — we'll be happy to guide you to the right class for your child.

3. Who can use the portal?

The portal is designed for school and college students in Grades 9 to 12 — whether they study at our campus, elsewhere in Pakistan, in rural areas without access to quality tutoring, or abroad. Some material is open to all visitors, while full access requires a signed-in, activated student account. If you are under 18, you should use the portal with the guidance of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

4. Is this a commercial project?

No. Athens Academy Islamabad is a not-for-profit social empowerment programme, built to give every student a fair shot at a good education — especially those who cannot reach first-class tutoring where they live. We are not a charity, and we don't ask for or accept donations. The modest fees students pay simply cover our costs — paying our teachers, running our facilities, and keeping the portal going — so we can keep serving students who need it.

5. How do I create an account?

You sign up on the website yourself using passwordless sign-in — either Google sign-in or a one-time link sent to your email, so there is no password to remember. After you sign up, your account is activated by our management before full access is enabled.

6. Why does my account need to be activated by management?

Activation by our team helps us keep the portal a safe, genuine learning space for students. Once your account is reviewed and activated, you can access the study material available to you.

7. Do I need to pay to use the portal?

No — a good amount of material is free. Free study material is available to signed-in students, and several exam resources are free for everyone: past papers, past paper MCQs, and topper copies for all subjects can be viewed by visitors. Paid subjects and chapters give you full access to the study material for your board and grade.

8. What is free and what is paid?

Chapter 1 study material (notes, quizzes, flashcards, model papers) of every subject is free for everyone, and past papers can be viewed freely. Downloading requires a free signed-in account, with a fair-use limit on the number of downloads per type within a rolling 24-hour window. Chapters beyond Chapter 1 in each subject are paid.

9. What does paid access cost, and what are my options?

Paid access covers all five subjects of your grade — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science — and comes in two simple options:

  • Monthly: Rs 500 — pay as you go, one month at a time.
  • Yearly: Rs 4,000 — one payment, valid till the end of the academic session, saving Rs 2,000 compared to paying monthly.

Both options give exactly the same access; the only difference is how you pay.

10. How do I pay?

Payment is made manually by bank transfer, JazzCash, or Easypaisa. After you send payment, share your proof of payment with us on WhatsApp (0334-2997799), and our management will confirm it and activate your access — usually within a few hours. We do not take card payments and do not store any card details.

11. Is paid access permanent?

No — access is time-limited, not a one-time permanent purchase. Monthly access runs for 30 days at a time; yearly access runs until the end of the academic session. There is no auto-deduction of any kind: monthly access simply ends unless you choose to pay for another month.

12. Can two students share one account or email address?

No — and this is for your own benefit. We create one profile for one account, built for one grade and one board. Your progress is tracked on that profile, and a study roadmap is planned around it — which chapters you have covered, where you are strong, and where you need more work. When two students share one account, the record no longer maps either student's true potential, and the guidance it produces is not quite right for either of you. Each student should sign up with their own email address; a free email account takes only a minute to create.

13. I have moved to the next grade. What should I do?

Congratulations! Just message us on WhatsApp (0334-2997799) with your registered email, and we will update your account to your new grade — your account and history stay with you. Please don't create a new account; one account serves you throughout your studies with us.

14. Which boards and grades do you cover?

We cover the Federal Board (FBISE) and Punjab Boards (BISE), for Grades 9 to 12 — Matric (Grades 9–10) and FSc (Grades 11–12). At our Islamabad campus, we also offer O-Level tuition in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Computer, and we are working to extend our O-Level scope further on a no-profit-no-loss basis.

15. Can students message or interact with each other on the portal?

No. Students do not interact with one another on the portal — there are no student profiles, messaging, or shared content between students. The portal is purely a study resource.

16. Will the study material guarantee good exam results?

Our material is prepared carefully to support the Federal and Punjab Board curricula, but it is meant to supplement — not replace — your official textbooks, board guidance, and classroom teaching. We cannot guarantee specific exam results, and we always encourage studying alongside your official syllabus.

17. How is my information kept safe?

We use passwordless sign-in, so there are no passwords to be stolen, along with access controls, two-factor authentication for staff accounts, and encrypted backups. Our full approach is explained in our Privacy Policy. If you ask us to delete your account, the associated personal information is removed.

18. I'm having trouble signing in or accessing my content. What do I do?

The quickest way to reach us is on WhatsApp at 0334-2997799, or by email at athensacademy786@gmail.com. Let us know your registered email and the problem, and our team will help.

19. I've fallen behind in my studies. Where should I start?

You don't have to catch up all at once — the material is broken down chapter by chapter for exactly this reason. Start with your weakest subject, take one chapter at a time, and read the Notes first. Then test yourself with the Quiz and Flashcards for that same chapter before moving on. Chapter 1 of every subject is free, so you can begin today without any cost. If you're not sure where to start, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you make a simple plan.
